J. Brown has released the visual for “I Just Can’t Love You,” which premiered on BET Soul with rotation starting next week.

The emotionally-transparent ballad was written by Carvin Haggins, Maurice Harley, Stanton Drinks and Terrell Roper and produced by Carvin Haggins and Stanton Drinks. “This is a very special song for me as I am able to sing about the emotions that sometimes we as men, society does not allow for us to speak about,” J. Brown states. “It touches on mental health awareness and how one can recognize that right now is not the perfect time to give his woman what she deserves. He is being vulnerable in admitting to her and himself that he just can’t love her right now because he is not able to love himself.

J. Brown is currently enjoying the success of his 5th Billboard Top 10 R&B Single, with the smash, “Don’t Rush” featuring Tank. The song is the #7 R&B song in the country this week.

J. Brown‘s debut album “Chapter & Verse“, is available now. On September 30th, the Deluxe Edition will be released. The Deluxe Edition CD contains the original album, plus 3 bonus tracks recorded exclusively for the release.

The new songs are entitled “Better,” “Red Bottoms,” and “Baby I Can.”
